SPECIALLY PREPARED VIETNAM ITINERARY 04 Nights 05 Days VUNG TAU & HO CHI MINH TOUR – 4N 5D
DAY 01: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – DRIVE TO VUNG TAU
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City – the largest city in Vietnam. Our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to local Indian Restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will drive to Vung Tau – a beach city near Ho Chi Minh. On arrival, check in hotel and spare free time to enjoy the long beautiful beaches. In the evening, you will be transferred to an Indian restaurant for dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: VUNG TAU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast move to the unique Statue of Jesus Christ is situated on the top of “Small Mountain”. After lunch proceed Ho May Tourist Park by cable car to enjoy city view and experience impressive moving. Return to the station by cable car and transfer back to the hotel. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03: VUNG TAU – HO CHI MINH SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast check out the hotel in Vung Tau and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. After lunch set out on a tour of the former capital of French Indochina. Historic landmarks include the Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Continue your tour by visiting the Reunification Palace which was used as the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war in the 60s. In the evening, you will be transferred to an Indian restaurant for dinner. Then transfer back to the hotel to overnight.
DAY 04: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS
After breakfast we will leave the city by private vehicle to visit the amazing tunnel network of Cu Chi. This incredible system, covering almost 250km in length was shelter to over 16,000 Vietcong guerrillas during the wars. Initially started in 1948 to provide shelter against the French air and ground sweeps, the network went on to serve as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese fighters throughout the American war. If you are interested (and game) you can even descend into the tunnels to learn more about the harsh conditions faced by Vietcong guerrillas who lived there. Return to the city center. After lunch you will be transferred to Ben Thanh Market – a signature of Ho Chi Minh City. You can then spend some time to walk around and find souvenirs to bring home. Back to the city and free your time at night.
DAY 05: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel transfer to the airport to take the departure flight.
